When did you begin your career in hair dressing and why?
In 2002 I was going to college for fashion design while working as a receptionist at a hair salon, after a year of seeing what life as a hair stylist would be like, I decided to give it a shot. I loved it. It turned out to be a perfect fit.

Cutting, balayage coloring, and cutting all types of hair. I really love working with clients to give them a low maintenance up to date great look.

Notable accomplishments or education?

Rodarte. Not only do they have the most beautiful shapes, but the textures are fantastic, and the workmanship is spectacular. It’s like a fashion dream.

If you could have one super power what would it be?
Time travel. That’s not nerdy, right? That’s cool, right?

Any special talents or hobbies?
Hula hooping! Seriously, I can do some crazy tricks with that circle.

What other profession would you like to try out if you did not do hair?
Circus performer. Trapeze, hula hoop, bearded lady. I’m not picky.

What do love most about your profession?
The nature of this business is constant change, which keeps it exciting. I love making people feel great about themselves and really having the ability to change someone’s self image for the better so quickly. It is a very fulfilling feeling.
